Consultation and Demonstration
We will work with you to find the best fit and style.
Compare TTL, Flip-Up and Ergo X options based on your workflow, posture and comfort needs.
Your working distance helps determine the correct optical setup and supports a more ergonomic clinical posture.
Choose frame style, fitting details and prescription requirements before confirming your order.
Measurement 1
Measure from your eye to the treatment area
To ensure proper focus alignment, measure your working distance in your normal clinical posture. For angled loupes, sit upright and look straight ahead. For TTL and flip-up loupes, sit upright with the neck slightly angled down throughout the measurement process.
Use a flexible tape measure to measure the distance between the corner of one eye and the patient's teeth. Perform multiple measurements to account for slight variations.
Measurement 2
Use a professional PD measurement where possible
For precise fitting, visit a local optician or eyewear retailer and request a PD measurement taken at infinity for surgical or dental loupes.
If you cannot visit an optician, measure your PD at home with help from another person. Stand approximately four feet away, hold a ruler horizontally across your nose, and have your assistant take a front-facing photo with flash. Repeat the measurement and use the average.
After ordering
Once you place your order, we forward the necessary information to the manufacturer, including working distance, pupillary distance, loupe type and magnification preferences.
